Abia Govt Announces cancellation of December Sanitation Exercise

Abia State Government has announced the cancellation of the Monthly Environmental Sanitation Exercise earlier scheduled to hold tomorrow, Saturday, December 20, 2025.

According to a release by the Commissioner for Environment, Philemon Asonye Ogbonna advised residents to clean their surroundings, including homes, offices, markets, and business premises, in the interest of public health and environmental sanitation throughout the festive period.

The release added that there will be no restriction of movement, and citizens are free to go about their lawful activities.
