UMUNNEOCHI, Abia State – The *All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate for Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency, Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, has officially flagged off her campaign for the 2027 elections, saying “the time to walk the talk has come.”
In a statement issued on Tuesday, August 19, 2026, Onyejeocha said the lifting of the embargo on campaigns for federal elective offices by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, marks the beginning of real engagement with constituents.
“In line with the INEC timetable for the 2027 elections, the embargo on Election campaigns for Federal elective offices has been lifted,” she stated.
“This is the time to walk the talk. Time to match intentions with actions. Time to campaign not with promises but with what we have achieved.”
She called on supporters to identify with the “Adaejiagamba movement”, noting that her engagement with constituents has now moved from seeking “Support” to asking for “Vote for Me”.
“For months, I have maintained consistent communication with you my friends as I sought your encouragement, prayers and good wishes, we have now metamorphosed from Support — Vote for Me,” she said.
Onyejeocha said her campaign manifesto will be made public in the coming days to enable voters to “compare and contrast between Fiction and Reality.”
She assured constituents that her campaign will focus on verifiable projects and issues.
“I will not build my campaign on _iko onu_ or social bullying. It will be issue based plus projects you can see and verify. That is what separates the wheat from the chaff,” she added.
The APC candidate urged the people of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi to keep faith with her, assuring them that “Adaejiagamba is up to the task.”
Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha is contesting to represent Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives in the 2027 general elections.
