Abia Electric Buses Set for Official Launch on Monday

Governor Alex Otti will officially launch the Abia Electric Vehicle Mass Transit Buses on Monday 22 December 2025.

According to a release endorsed by the Commissioner for Transport Dr Chimezie Ukaegbu, the historic event will take place at the International Conference Centre in Umuahia by 12:00 Noon.

“Your presence and support as a critical stakeholder in the peace, progress, and prosperity of Abia State are invaluable to the success of this transformative project,” the statement said.
