Ukaegbu Inspects Newly Arrived Electric Buses, reaffirms Otti’s Commitment to Modern, Affordable, Efficient Transport System
Abia State Commissioner for Transport, Dr Chimezie Isaac Ukaegbu has inspected the newly arrived second batch of twenty (20) electric buses, reaffirming the commitment of Governor Alex Otti administration to building a modern, affordable and efficient transport system.

The arrival of these electric buses marks another major milestone in the State government’s transportation revolution.
Dr. Ukaegbu assured Abians that the vehicles will provide more convenient, safer and cheaper transportation while advancing the state’s vision for sustainable mobility.

The Commissioner also reiterated that the idea is to have a total of 100 electric buses as soon as possible, further reinforcing the Governor’s commitment to the improved welfare of Abians.
He expressed the hope that the new buses would offer improved services considering the observations taken during the pilot phase with the earlier vehicles.
