Otti to Launch Abia Agriculture Dynamic Database System (ABIA ADDS) Thursday

Abia State Governor Alex Otti will formally unveil the Abia Agriculture Dynamic Database System (ABIA ADDS) platform on Thursday, December 11, 2025.

The initiative, which is powered through the Abia State Ministry of Agriculture, is a transformative digital platform designed to enhance agricultural data collection, farmer identification, planning, and targeted interventions across all Local Government Areas.

According to a release signed by the Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Cliff Agbaeze: “Abia Adds represents a major step towards building a modern, data-driven, and technology-enabled agricultural sector that will support increased productivity, food security, and economic growth across the State.”

The formal launch which will take place at International Conference Centre, Umuahia, feature formal unveiling of the Abia Adds platform by Governor Alex Otti, a live demonstration of the platform’s capabilities and live farmers’ verification and inputs distribution

All stakeholders, development partners, farmer groups, cooperatives, local government representatives, and the general public have been invited to participate in the historic event.
