Eze Linto Appreciates Gov. Otti, Others for Attending his 2025 New Yam Festival

The Chairman, Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers, Eze Linus Nto Mbah (LINTO) has thanked Governor Alex Otti for attending his 2025 new yam festival held over the weekend at his Ata Igbo Ukwu Umuzomgbo Autonomous Community, Ihechiowa, Arochukwu LGA.

Eze Linus Mbah in his appreciation message, equally thanked the immediate past Deputy Governor of Abia State, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu, Secretary to the Abia State Government, Professor Kenneth Kalu, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Prince Uzor Nwachukwu, Commissioner for Arts, Culture and Creative Economy Mr. Mathew Ekwuribe, Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Sir Nwaobilor Ananaba, the Mayor of Arochukwu LGA, Dr chibuike eze Aru, the Chairman of the occasion, Professor Uwaoma Uche, Chairman South East traditional Rulers Council, Eze E. C Okeke, Chairman of traditional rulers of Enugu State, Igwe Samuel Asadu, the principal officers of Abia State Traditional Rulers Council particularly, the 1st,2nd and 3rd Deputy Chairmen of, including Eze Nelson Nmeregwa, Eze Franklin Nwosu, Eze Uwakwe Ukaegbu and a retinue of traditional ruling institution, the Catholic church community led by Rev. Father… members of the eze in council of among many other dignitaries too numerous to mention.

The royal father noted with joy that Governor Alex Otti used the occasion to officially announced the award of contracr for the construction of the long abandoned Ihechiowa ring road connecting Umuzomgbo – Obinto – Ọkpọ – Achara – Amafia – Amaetiti to Umuchiakuma communities.

Eze Mbah also commended the Governor for the ongoing road constructions in many roads around the Arochukwu LGA corridors which he said made it much easier for for transportation.

He thanked the Governor for awarding contract for reconstruction of Obinto Market to a modern market and described the achievements of Governor Alex Otti within 2 years in office as unprecedented.

Eze Linus Mbah, while assuring Governor Alex Otti of the continuous support of his people called on all Abians to give Governor Alex Otti an unalloyed support and ensure he is reelected in 2027 to consolidate his good works in the state.
