Ukaegbu Invites Abia Exco to his Inauguration as member of Governing Board at MOUAU Business School Launch
Abia State Commissioner for Transport Dr Chimezie Isaac Ukaegbu will be inaugurated alongside Others as Members of the Board of Directors at the Official Launch of the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Business School.
In a letter endorsed by Director of the Business School, Professor Michael Ekwe and addressed to Dr Ukaegbu, the event will hold on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at the New Lecture Theatre, Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike.
The letter described the establishment of the MOUAU Business School as a significant milestone in the University’s pursuit of excellence in executive education, leadership development, and entrepreneurship, and meaningful engagement with industry and society.
“The inauguration of the Governing Board marks the commencement of strategic oversight and guidance essential to the successful realisation of the School’s vision and mandate,” the letter read.
The letter noted that Dr Ukaegbu’s appointment was in recognition of his experience, integrity, and distinguished contributions, adding that the University is honoured to have him serve as a member of the Governing Board.
“Your role will be pivotal in shaping the direction, growth, and impact of the MOUAU Business School,” the letter noted.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner for Transport Dr Chimezie Ukaegbu has extended a formal invitation to members of the Abia State Executive Council to the Official Launch of the MOUAU Business School and the Inauguration of its Board of Directors.
In a release, Dr Ukaegbu while noting that the ceremony would mark the formal commencement of his tenure on the Board, added that it would be a great honor to have his colleagues from the Exco present to witness such a milestone.
