As Christians mark the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Abia State Commissioner for Transport Dr. Chimezie Ukaegbu has urged Nigerians to draw inspiration from the values of Easter in navigating through life’s challenges.

In his Easter message, the Transport Commissioner extended greetings to Christians, noting that the season offers an opportunity for reflection on the essence of faith and its relevance to the current economic realities in our nation.

“Easter is more than a religious ritual. It is a powerful story of triumph over despair and life over death,” Ukaegbu said.

“The story of Easter reminds us that no situation is too bleak to be redeemed and no challenge is insurmountable when we are united in faith and purpose.”

Ukaegbu also called on citizens to emulate the selflessness of Christ by supporting the vulnerable and the sick within and around us.

He reiterated his commitment to the administration of Governor Alex Otti to the new Abia, adding that the reforms in the transport sector and other critical sectors of the economy would continue.

Dr. Ukaegbu enjoined motorists to drive safely on our roads, urging Christians to celebrate responsibly.

He wished Christians a peaceful and joyful Easter celebration, while praying for the nation’s continued protection and restoration.
