In a congratulatory message marking the governor’s third anniversary, Ukaegbu said Abia has witnessed significant progress across key sectors, with the transport sector emerging as one of the clearest examples of the administration’s commitment to improving the lives of citizens.
According to the Commissioner, Gov. Otti’s vision and determination have helped reposition Abia as a state on the path of growth, innovation, and sustainable development.
“Over the last three years, Governor Alex Otti has demonstrated what purposeful leadership can achieve. Through bold reforms and strategic investments, he has transformed critical sectors of the state’s economy and restored confidence in governance,” Ukaegbu said.
He noted that the transport sector has experienced unprecedented improvements under the current administration, citing the construction of a modern bus terminal, rehabilitation of major roads and transport corridors, modernization of traffic management systems, and reforms aimed at creating a safer and more efficient transportation network.
“For many residents, these changes are no longer just government projects; they are improvements that are felt every day. People can move more easily, businesses can operate more efficiently, and investors are beginning to see Abia as a destination of opportunity,” he stated.
The Commissioner described the ongoing changes as a transport revolution that is helping to unlock economic growth and improve the quality of life across the state.
“Today, Abia is truly on the move. The gains we are seeing in transportation are boosting commerce, reducing travel challenges, attracting investment, and making life better for our people. These achievements reflect a government that is focused on results and committed to the welfare of its citizens,” he concluded.
