NDC Assembly Candidate Pledges Quality Representation, Development For Constituency

UMUAHIA, Abia State – The National Democratic Congress, NDC, candidate for Ikwuano State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Dr. Kalu Chukwuemeka Israel, has extended a New Month goodwill message to the people of Ikwuano as the year enters September 2026.

In the message made available to the press on Monday, Dr. Israel prayed for renewed strength, good health, peace, business growth, and bountiful harvest for residents across the constituency.

Dr. Israel said the new month comes with “fresh opportunities” and asked God to usher in blessings that will touch every family across the 4 clans of Ikwuano — Ibere, Oboro, Ariam/Usaka, and Oloko.

“I pray that God Almighty grants us renewed strength, good health, peace in our homes, progress in our businesses, and bountiful harvest for our farmers,” he stated.

He described Ikwuano as a land blessed with hardworking men and women, vibrant youths, and resilient mothers whose contributions remain vital to the growth of Abia State.

The NDC candidate reaffirmed his commitment to the “vision of a New Ikwuano”, promising to work towards attracting development, improving roads, empowering youths, supporting farmers, and ensuring effective representation at the Abia State House of Assembly if elected.

“Under the vision of a New Ikwuano, we will continue to work together to attract development, improve our roads, empower our youths, support our farmers, and ensure quality representation,” he said.

Dr. Israel also called on Ikwuano people to embrace unity and mutual support, stressing that collective effort is needed to build “the Ikwuano of our dreams — a constituency where no one is left behind.”

He concluded: “Once again, Happy New Month. May this September bring testimonies, open doors, and victories for us all. God bless Ikwuano. God bless Abia State.”
