Mama Helen Chinyere Abalogu Dies at 95
Death has been announced of Mama Helen Chinyere Abalogu (Nee Onuigbo) of Umuaroko Azueke Ibeku in Umuahia North L.G.A. at the age of 95 years.
A release signed by the Secretary, Abia State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Iyke Onuegbu late Mama Abalogu passed on peacefully in the early hours of Saturday November 6, 2025 after a protracted illness.

The release said her remains have been deposited in the morgue while arrangements for her burial would be made known in due course.
The Chief mourner called for prayers for the family at this trying moment of their life.
