Late Mrs Rose Umezuruike Laid to Rest in Iberenta Ọrọ-ibere Aut Comm. Amidst Glowing Tributes

The remains of late Mrs Rosemary Emelike has been led to rest at her husband’s hometown Ekweri in Iberenta Ọrọ-ibere Autonomous Community Ikwuano LGA Abia State.

Speaking at the funeral service, conducted by The Apostolic Church Iberenta District, Pastor I M Chuks reminded mankind of that biblical fact that they are pilgrims on earth.

Pastor Chuks pointed out that every man’s life is under God’s scrutiny, urging people to live with the consciousness that every one’s action would be accounted for in the last days.

He further called on people to make adequate preparation for the life of eternity which would either be spent with God in heaven or hell depending on one’s work.

In a tribute, the husband of the deceased, Mr. Emelike Umezuruike described his late wife as a caring, good, strong and hardworking wife.

Umuzuruike, who was full of years at the graveside, noted that his late wife loved her family so dearly, protected and guided them jealously, adding that she would sorely be missed.

Reading her biography,the first daughter, Ogechi John, described the late Mrs Rose Umezuruike John as a devoted christian who served God diligently in The Apostolic church.

She pointed out that their late mother was sociable, jovial and accommodating and lived her life as a very selfless human being and maintained a good cordial relationship with everyone who came her way.

Also in a tribute, the Nigerian Union of Teachers NUT, Ikwuano LGA chapter and the head teacher of Iyalu Community School, described her as a dedicated, disciplined and hardworking educator, who carried her duties with exceptional commitment.

They noted that she would be greatly missed by her colleagues and pupils whom she impacted in her lifetime.

Mrs Rose Umezuruike John, who was born into the family of Mr and Mrs Ama Ufiem Ekuma of Amukabi Owutu Edda in Afikpo LGA Ebonyi State got married to Mr Emelike Umezuruike John of Ekweri in Iberenta Ọrọ-ibere Autonomous Community Ikwuano LGA Abia.

She died at the age of 53 years leaving her husband and three children including Ogechi Precious John, Iheanacho Kingsley John and Grace Ulunma, among many relatives.
