2027: Ex-Abia Speaker Chinedum Orji Declares for Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency

Former Speaker of the 7th Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji has formally declared his intention to contest for the Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives in 2027 on the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC).

Orji made this declaration while addressing a large number of supporters who paid him a Good Friday visit in Umuahia.

The former Speaker said his decision followed his quest to offer his services to the people of Ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency.

“I am deeply moved by the confidence you have reposed in me and the belief that together, we can build a constituency that works for all,” Orji stated.

“Having had the privilege to serve before at the State Assembly, I understand the demands of leadership and the urgency of delivering results that truly impact lives.

“I therefore offer myself once again, not just as an aspirant, but as a voice committed to development and the advancement of our people through quality representation at the National Assembly.”
