Traditional Rulers, Village Heads, Women and Youth Leaders in Isiala Ngwa South, Osisoma Endorse Otti for Second Tenure The Council of Traditional
The Council of Traditiona Rulers, Village Heads, Youth and Women leaders in Isiala Ngwa South and Osisioma Ngwa LGA, have unanimously endorsed Governor Alex Otti, for a second tenure in office, citing his transformational leadership, infrastructural revolution, and people-oriented governance across the state.

They made the pledge during the ongoing statewide sensitisation tour of LGAs by the Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers led by the Chairman, Eze Linus Nto Mba.
The visit is centred on creating awareness on the need for the leaders to mobilise their people to register and obtain their permanent voters card (PVC) to enable them participate in the electoral process.

Speaking at Omoba, Isiala Ngwa South and Osisioma LGAs, Eze Dr. Linus Nto Mbah, Chairman of the Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers, noted remarkable transformation currently taking place across Abia State under the leadership of Governor Alex Otti.

Eze Mba emphasised that Governor Otti has distinguished himself through purposeful leadership, prudent management of public resources, infrastructural renewal, grassroots development, and policies that directly impact the lives of ordinary citizens.

The royal father maintained that communities across the state have continued to witness positive changes in road infrastructure, healthcare delivery, education, sanitation, and security, which have restored hope and confidence among the people.

Eze Mba further stated that the traditional institution are proud of the Governor’s commitment towards inclusive governance and sustainable development, and have endorsed him for second term to encourage continuity, stability, and consolidation of the gains already achieved.

He therefore urged all Abians to remain united and supportive of the present administration, and called them to register for the ongoing continuous registration exercise of INEC to enable them obtain their PVCs and vote for the governor.
In their separate remarks, the Mayor of Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area, Hon. Nnadozie Nwogwugwu, and his Osisoma Ngwa counterpart, Hon. Chidi Agu thanked the traditional institution for their continuous commitment towards peace, unity, and grassroots development in Abia State.
The Mayors said that Governor Alex Otti’s administration has restored confidence in governance through transparency, accountability, competence, and purposeful leadership.
They further urged the traditional rulers, village heads, and other community leaders to remain steadfast in supporting the Governor’s administration, pledging to work assiduously for the governor’s reelection while also encouraging their people to obtain their PVCs for the forthcoming elections.
Speaking on behalf of the traditional rulers, the Chairman of the Isiala Ngwa South Council of Traditional Rulers, Eze J.C. Nguobi, and that of Osisoma, pledged their support to governor Alex Otti’s second tenure bid, saying that he has shown genuine concern for the welfare of the people and has continued to govern with integrity, accountability, and the fear of God.
Other leaders who spoke on the day including former Isiala Ngwa South LGA chairman, Chinagorom Nwankpa, Super High Chief Ijeoma Arimadu for the village heads, Ugoeze Elizabeth Ngobi, Chief Mrs Ezinne Monica Obidiya Agu. stated that the endorsement of Governor Alex Otti was based on the visible transformation and renewed sense of governance currently being experienced across Abia State.
On their part, High Chief Onyekachi Aaron on behalf of village heads in Osisioma, Elder Jolly Azu for PGs, Woman leader Chief Mrs Ugoma Eme and Youth Leader, Victor Onyenso noted governor Otti’s developmental policies across the state and endorsed him as their sole candidate for governorship
