Otti to Receive ex-Abia SSG, Ralph Egbu, Other Ukwa Politicians into Labour

Abia State Governor, Alex Otti is set to formally receive the former Secretary to Abia State Government, Chief Ralph Egbu, hundreds of his supporters and other political heavyweights from Ukwa West into the ruling Labour Party in Abia state.

The official reception has been scheduled to hold on Friday this week at Obehe Central School, Ukwa West Local Government Area of the state by 11.00am.

Speaking to the press on the level of preparation for the reception, a former Secretary to the State Government, Chief Ralph Egbu said that he was happy to be joining Governor Alex Otti to the Labour Party.

Egbu said his decision to join Governor Alex Otti is based on the numerous achievements and people oriented projects of the Governor scattered across the state including Ukwa West LGA.

“His Excellency, Governor Alex Otti has within two years in office demonstrated uncommon capacity to deliver in virtually all sectors of the economy.

A celebrated journalist and former editor of leading Nigerian newspapers, Ralph Egbu was equally a two time Commissioner for Information and former Chief Press Secretary to both the Military and civilian Governors in Abia state.

He said he would be bringing his experience to bear in the government of Governor Alex Otti.
