Abia NULGE President, Unaeze Receives Commendation for Overseeing Transparent Election, Bags Award
The President, Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) Abia State Chapter, Comrade Linda Unaeze has been commended for leadership roles since assuming office as the first female president of the Union.
This is as the Woman Committee Chairpersons (WCC) of NULGE in the 17 Local Government Area of the State have presented her with an award of excellence for overseeing a free and fair election that saw their emergence as WCC Chairpersons in their LGAs.

Speaking during a courtesy at the NULGE Secretariat Umuahia, the Women Committee State Chairperson of NULGE, Chief Comrade Ezinwanyi Princess Ugorji, congratulated Comrade Unaeze on her emergence as the first female president of NULGE in Abia State.
Chief Comrade Ugorji, applauded her exceptional leadership style, urging her not to relent in doing her best for the Union.

Responding, the President, Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) Abia State Chapter, Comrade Linda Unaeze thanked the Woman Committee Chairpersons (WCC) for the award, which she said would spur her to do more.
Comrade Unaeze urged the women to be transparent, and straightforward while discharging their duties.
The NULGE State President, while reminding the women that to whom much is giving much is expected, further encouraged them to avoid any form of discrimination against NULGE, and continue to protect the union wherever they find themselves.
She thanked the women for also honouring her with an award and pledged to work assiduously with them to uplift the welfare and interest of all the members.
