Ukaegbu Hosts Umuahia North Labour Party Stakeholders, Calls for Collaboration in Moving Party Forward 

Abia State Commissioner for Transport Dr Chimezie Isaac Ukaegbu has called on Labour Party stakeholders to forge a common front in building a party that would continue to be responsive, united, and focused on the aspirations of the people.

He made the call at his Residence, Amuzukwu Ibeku, Umuahia during Stakeholders’ Engagement of Umuahia North Local Labour Party.

  Dr. Ukaegbu who described stakeholders as the bridge between the party and the people, urged them continue to strengthen ward structures, encourage wider participation, and promote peace and harmony within the party.

He said the meeting was an opportunity for us to renew commitment to the ideals of service, good governance, inclusiveness, and people-centred leadership which the Labour Party represents.

“Our party has continued to grow because of the dedication and sacrifices of people like you – leaders who believe in a better future and who understand that political strength comes from the people at the grassroots,” he said.

He appreciated their efforts, loyalty, and contributions towards building a stronger political structure, urging them to jettison personal differences for the collective interest of the party.

As we prepare for the future, we must remain united. Our strength lies in our ability to work together, respect one another, and place the collective interest of our people above personal differences,” Ukaegbu noted.

“The responsibility before us is great. Our people expect leadership that listens, leadership that cares, and leadership that delivers. Therefore, we must continue to engage our communities, understand their needs, and support initiatives that improve lives,”

He further encouraged the youths and women to demonstrate active participation, emphasising that”the future belongs to those who participate, and your energy, ideas, and commitment are vital to the continued success of our movement.”
