Papa Uma Ukpai was a True Christian – J. Martins

The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Alex Otti on Tourism and Entertainment, Dr. Justice Okechukwu Martins has paid a condolence visit to the family of the departed evangelist Dr. Uma Ukpai at his residence in Uyo Akwa Ibom State.

Speaking during the visit, Dr Martins, in a heavily laden voice described the deceased as a true christian, noting that even ‘unbelievers’ knew him as one.

He recalled with nostalgia the last visit he paid the late Uma Ukpai at the same venue and how the assignment he gave to him, pointing out that he had not come to mourn but to thank God for a life well lived.

The SSA, while noting that the deceased was his uncle, admonished the family to take solace in his numerous accomplishments as a consummate and renowned minister of the God.
