Otti Names Ememanka as DG Strategic Communications Bureau

Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has appointed Onyebuchi Ememanka as the Director General, Abia State Strategic Communications Bureau.

Ememanka served as the Chief Press Secretary to immediate past Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu during the former Governor’s second tenure.

He however resigned his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in May 2025 and pitched his tent with the Government of Governor Alex Otti.

Otti also appointed Igwe Samuel Obinna as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media.

The two appointments were contained in a government statement endorsed by
the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ferdinand Ekeoma, .

According to the statement, the appointments take effect from December 1, 2025.
