Otti Grants Automatic Employment to Nine Ex-corp Members

Abia State Governor, Alex Otti has granted automatic employment to 9 Ex-Corps members of Abia origin, who recently received presidential NYSC Honour’s awards.

Otti made the pronouncement while receiving the 9 Ex-Corps members led by the NYSC State Coordinator, Gladys Adama.

He directed the State Head of Service to issue them appointment letters with immediate effect.

“Honourable Attorney General, please communicate to the Head of Service that the nine of them should be given automatic employment. No interviews. They have already passed the interviews,” Otti said.

“So, what you need to do is go and do your documentation and then you can start work on Monday.”

The Governor, who appreciated them for their outstanding performance during their service year which earned them the Presidential Honour, charged them to continue to be outstanding in everything they do.

He equally thanked the NYSC State Coordinator for the great work she is doing and for bringing outstanding Ex-Corp members to him.

Responding on behalf of others, Nwogu Chinomso from Obingwa LGA, thanked Governor Otti for the reception and appointment given to them and promised that they would serve the State with dedication.

Earlier while presenting the Ex-Corp members, the Abia State Coordinator of NYSC, Gladys Adama said that the Nine Ex-Corp members made the State proud during their service year and were decorated by the Nigeria’s President on July 29 this year.

The Ex-Corp members who were granted automatic employment include: Nwogu Chinonso, Anyanwụ Promise, Ezieme Francis Uba, Emmanuel Ogbenyealu Ezinne and Abia Chinwendu Grace

The rest are Nwafike Esther Chiemela, Dr Ugwa Obinna Mark, Eke Lawrence Miracle and James Raphael chukwuebuka.
