Eze Linto Felicitates Tinubu, Otti on Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary, Calls for Tolerance Among Citizens

The Chairman, Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers, Eze Linus Nto Mbah (LINTO) has congratulated President Bola Almed Tinubu and Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti on the 65th Independence anniversary of Nigeria.

In his goodwill message to commemorate this year’s Independence Day celebration, Eze Nto Mbah sued for peace in the country to enable the people to uphold the visions of the founding fathers of Nigeria.

Eze Linus Mbah used the occasion of the Independence Day celebration to call for tolerance among Nigerians.

He stressed the need for all to see one another as one in order to move the country forward.

The Royal father, who regretted the mindless killings, kidnapping and pockets of insecurity bedeviling Nigeria, noted that, these were not the visions of the founding fathers.

He maintained that with love and patriotism, these challenges would be reduced if not totally eliminated.

Eze Linus Nto Mbah said that at 65, Nigeria is supposed to have overcome certain challenges including food insecurity, and called on all to cooperate with governments at all levels to encourage the people to embrace agriculture.

The number one traditional ruler, who thanked God for the relative peace being witnessed in Nigeria noted that, though the country has not achieved all she desires, the nation is certainly no longer at the place she was at Independence.

While appreciating Governor Alex Otti for his efforts in delivering good democracy dividends to Abians, particularly in healthcare, education, security, prioritising the welfare of the workers and pensioners among others.

He equally used the opportunity to welcome the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Almed Tinubu to Abia as he visits to commission Port Harcourt road and other roads in the state this Friday, October 3, 2025.

Eze Linus Mbah appreciated the fact that Mr. President is coming to celebrate transformational projects of Governor Alex Otti with Abians.
