Abia Tops Medal Table at South East Shooting Championship

Abia State is currently leading the medal standings at the ongoing South East Shooting Championship, having secured a total of six medals across multiple events.

The state clinched four gold medals, one silver, and one bronze in the Mixed Doubles Pistol, Mixed Doubles Rifle, and Para Pistol events, underscoring its strong performance at the championship.

Enugu State followed with two silver medals, both recorded in the Mixed Doubles Pistol and Mixed Doubles Rifle events.

Imo State earned one bronze medal in the Mixed Doubles Pistol Event.

Anambra State secured one bronze medal in the Mixed Doubles Rifle event.Ebonyi State is yet to record a medal at the championship.

The competition concludes today at the Umuahia Township, with the championship set to officially end with a closing ceremony.
