Abia State Commissioner for Transport Extends Warm Eid-el-fitr Greetings to Muslim Faithfuls, Tasks Motorists Road Safety

The Abia State Commissioner for Transport Dr Chimezie Isaac Ukaegbu has extended his warm felicitations to the Muslim community across the state and beyond in the celebration of their Eid el-fitr.

In his goodwill message to commemorate this year’s Eid el-fitr, Dr Ukaegbu wished them a joyful and peaceful Eid filled with love, gratitude and divine blessings.

“May Allah accept your fasts, prayers and charity. May the spirit of unity and compassion stay with you throughout the year,” Ukaegbu said.

The Commissioner urged them to celebrate with love and support for mankind, praying Allah to continue to guide them on the path of righteousness and strengthen their commitment to peace and unity of the nation Nigeria.

Dr. Ukaegbu used the occasion to advise drivers to drive safely, obey traffic laws and ensure vehicle roadworthiness.

He reiterated the commitment of Dr Alex Chioma Otti administration through the state Ministry of Transport to protect the interest and welfare of the motorists.
