Abia NUJ Congress Holds Wednesday

The monthly congress of the Nigeria Union of Journalists Abia State Council holds on Wednesday 11th February, 2026.

A release by the State Chairman of the Council, Comrade Chidi Asonye and Secretary Iyke Onuegbu puts the venue of the congress at No. 66 Aba road Umuahia while time is 2 PM.

According to the release, the congress will feature prayer session to be officiated by Rev. Blessing Amalambu to rededicate all Journalists in the State to God for the year 2026 while Pastor Emmanuel Ihim,Esq will be a guest of honour at the congress.

The release enjoined all members of the Union and veterans to endeavour to attend en masse as issues of concern shall be discussed extensively.
