Encomiums Pour-in as Ex-Abia DGov Akomas Marks 65th Birthday

As the National Chairman of Forum of Former Deputy Governors of Nigeria, Dr. Chris Akomas marks his 65th birthday in his sojourn under the sun, felicitations are pouring in like the running of many waters, in celebration of life abundance for this great man.

Dr. Akomas, erstwhile deputy governor of Abia state, as well as the former Federal Commissioner, representing Abia state at the Revenue Mobilization, Allocation and Fiscal Commission, Abuja has touched many lives over the years even as he has done so much for the development of his Nenu community in Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia state.

During his service to the state as Special Adviser on Education, Commissioner for Lands and Housing, deputy governor and the federal commissioner, he played major roles in moving the state to the next level and has always remained committed to it’s overall development.

Wishing him well on his birthday, Comrade Chidi Asonye, the Abia State Council Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, described him as a special gift to nd’Abia and humanity at large while praying God to strengthen and preserve him in all his future endeavors.
