‘Be that Person that will Love Righteousness,’ Onyeukwu Urges as Late Nneoma Mabel Ndaji is laid to Rest

A Methodist Church cleric, Very Rev. Ernest Onyeukwu has said that living a righteous life that is devoid of wickedness attracts blessings from God and prosperity to one’s generation.

Very Rev. Onyeukwu stated this in sermon at the burial of late Nneoma Mabel Ndaji at Agbiyi Umuede in Amaegbuato Nkpa Autonomous Community, Bende Local Government Area of Abia State.

The Minister whose sermon was taken from lessons from Revelation 20:11-15; Luke 16:19-31, pointed out death is a necessary end for all mortals, which sorts no one’s consent.

He noted that judgement awaits every individual after death but cautioned that one’s eternity is dependent on the kind of life lived while on earth.

He eulogised the deceased, late Nneoma Mabel Ndaji, as a virtuous woman whose life reflected all the attributes of a christian mother.

“In a world where wickedness is the order of the day, be that person that will love righteousness, hating wickedness and you will attract blessings for you and your generation,” Onyeukwu said.

In a funeral oration, the first son of the deceased, Barr. Chidozie Ndaji described her as an ambassador of peace.

As a teacher, Ndaji said their mother was a life time parent guardian, added that she had time, patience and love for every child who came her way.


Also speaking, one of the sons of the deceased and a member of Government College Umuahia Old Boys’ Association GCUOBA Class of 93,’ Chijioke Ndaji said their mother was a virtuous woman whose Christian life was visibly seen in all she did.

Chijioke Ndaji while noting that hia mother was his rock, shelter and guiding light, stressing that her absence had already caused do much pain deeply in their hearts.

The Eagle News gathered that the burial attracted many dignitaries from all walks of life, including members of Government College Umuahia Old Boys’ Association GCUOBA Class of 93 led by Comrade Ifeanyi Nwaji.
