Ukaegbu Appointed as Member of MOUAU Business School Management Team
The Abia State Commissioner for Transport Dr Chimezie Isaac Ukaegbu has been appointed as a Member of the Board of MOUAU Business School Management Team.
The appointment, contained in a letter signed by the Registrar and Secretary to Council, Dr. Nkeiruka Mbanasor, following the approval of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Maduebibisi Ofo Iwe, takes effect from December 1, 2025.
According to the letter Ukaegbu’s appointment is based on his outstanding record of selfless service and your proven contributions to national development, particularly in the fields of education, economic growth and leadership.
“The University acknowledges your notable achievements, which among others include demonstration and public service roles, which have positively influenced institutional strengthening and national development,” the letter read.
“These accomplishments align strongly with the vision of the MOUAU Business School to serve as a hub for advanced learning, Research, entrepreneurship development and policy dialogue that support Nigeria’s agricultural and economics sectors.”
As a member of the Board, he is expected to provide strategic guidance for the growth and global positioning of MOUAU Business School, support the development, review and implementation of high-quality academic programmes.
Other responsibilities include, to advice on partnership, grants and industry collaborations that will enhance the schools development, promote best practises in governance, innovation and ethical leadership and contribute your expertise to ensure the school fulfils its mandate of “Empowering Minds, Shaping Tomorrow’s Leaders.”
The appointment has a tenure for a period of five years, subject to periodic review in line with the University regulations.
