Otti’s Aide, Chukwu, Mourns Passing of Ochi of Isuochi, Eze Ezekwesiri

The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Alex Otti on Due Process, Chief (Dr.) Oluebube Chukwu, has mourned the passing of Ochi 1 of Isuochi kingdom, Eze G. I. Ezekwesiri.

Dr. Chukwu, in a statement he personally signed, said the Monarch’s departure was “profound loss not only to Isuochi but also Abia State, where his sublime wisdom, leadership, dedication to unity and progress, among other rare qualities of his, were widely respected.”

“Eze Ezekwesiri was a pillar of peace and a custodian of our cultural heritage.

“His reign was marked by a deep commitment to the well-being of his people, fostering harmony and championing development in Isuochi and beyond.

“His unwavering dedication to justice, tradition, and progress earned him the love and admiration of many,” the statement read in part.

The SSA admonished in mourning this great loss, “let us find solace in the enduring legacy he has left behind, praying that his wisdom continues to guide us, even as his efforts towards peace and development inspire future generations.

“I pray that God grants the Royal Family, the Traditional Council and the entire Isuochi community the strength to bear this irreparable loss. May His Majesty’s soul rest in peace profound,” he concluded.
