Easter: Dr. Chukwu Enjoins Abian to Draw Lessons of Selflessness, Sacrifice from Risen Christ

As the world marks this years Easter celebration, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Due Process, Dr Oluebube Chukwu has enjoined all to draw lessons from the selfless life of Jesus Christ and his sacrifices for the world.

Oluebube, who was speaking to newsmen in his office, described the Easter season as a period of rebirth, growth expansion renewal and a turn around of situations to better ones.

He noted that through the grace of God, Governor Alex Otti has brought massive change in infrastructure and other development strides for the people, a performance he said is synonymous with what the risen Christ did for mankind.

He said: “In Abia state, we all know that there has been a tremendous turnaround, a massive rebirth we are actually in the season of a new Abia.

“God has mightily and greatly used His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti, (OFR) to catalyze positive change in the lives of the residents of Abia State, from Umuahia to Aba to Ukwa East and West, Ohafia Arochukwu, the massive change in infrastructure development has been nothing short of a rebirth renewal which is synonymous with what we, as Christians, celebrate in the season of Easter.”

Dr. Chukwu, who doubles as the Head of Due Process and Public Procurement Bureau in Abia State, used the opportunity to wish the Governor, his family, the Government and people of Abia State, a happy Easter celebrations.

“On that note I wish happy Easter celebration to the first family of Abia State, Dr Alex Otti and his wife, first lady Mrs Priscilla Otti, Deputy Governor Ikechukwu Emetu and wife.
The generality of Abia and Abians may the Easter be for us as we expect, a season filled with glad tidings, goodwill among men blessings and above all peace.”

He encouraged Abians to be ‘loud and proud in their celebrations of the risen Christ and to share glad tidings with neighbors and those that they come across.’

According to him, for those resident in Abia, it is a season to enjoy more of the massive infrastructural development that the performing Governor, Dr. Alex Otti continues to unfold in Abia.
