Abia CP Tasks Officers on Inclusive Policing in Crime Fighting

The Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa has held a strategic conference with officers of the Command, including Area Commanders, DPOs, HODs and Tactical Team Commanders at the Command’s Officer’s mess, Umuahia.
During the meeting, the CP provided key insights from the recently concluded Retreat for Senior Police Officers, he lectured on the importance of inclusive policing and urged officers of the command to collaborate with all stakeholders to curb crime in their various AORs.
He emphasized the need for officers to prioritize their mental well-being, noting that a healthy mind is crucial for maintaining professionalism and sound sense judgement.
He issued stern warning against delving into civil cases, extortion, and corruption, stressing that strict disciplinary measures would be taken against any officer found guilty of misconduct.
He also cautioned against the misuse of social media, urging personnel to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and adhere to the NPF social media policy.
He further directed officers to emplace strategic security mechanisms to guarantee law and order in their AOR.
According to the release by the Command’s PRO Maureen Chinaka, three promoted Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs), ACP Odo Lauretta, ACP Enatufe Omo, and ACP Ifeanyi Owo were decorated.
The CP admonished them to remain professional, law-abiding, and dedicated to their duties.
The Command also honored and appreciated three officers who recently retired from the Nigeria Police Force.
The CP commended their dedication and sacrifices throughout their years in service and encouraged them to remain good ambassadors of the Force even in retirement.
